On Monday, 23rd October 2017, the Association launched our Community Investment Fund Awards Scheme. Via this scheme, we aim to further support local organisations in the delivery of projects which will provide opportunities for all, improves the lives of those living within North Belfast and to provide some financial support to voluntary and community organisations seeking to deliver projects that will meet one or more of the following funding objectives:
• helping to increase levels of employability
• creating sustainable communities
• increasing participation of minority groups
• improving physical and mental health
• promote health and well-being
• community safety initiatives
If the value of all applications submitted exceed the limit of the Fund (£10,000) and all applications meet the specified criteria, the applications will be assessed on their merits by our Community Investment Fund Awards Panel, which comprises of tenants from our Tenant Forum and NHA employees.

Applications are available from 9:00am on Monday, 23rd October 2017. All completed application must be submitted to Newington Housing Association by 12:00pm (noon), Friday 17th November 2017.
