Notice to Tenants – Damage to property due to recent storms and bad weather

We have had a high level of reports of repairs caused to Newington homes because of the stormy wet weather.  The bad weather has been ongoing for several weeks and is set to continue during February.

 Our staff and contractors are working hard to get to your home to fix the weather-related repair, this may be issues to roofs, including leaks gutters repairs, etc. 

 Unfortunately, in some cases the repair can’t be fixed until there is dry weather. 

Please understand this is not an excuse by Newington. If we could fix your repair safely and securely we would. 

We also need to take contractor and staff safety into consideration if they need to work at a high level and it is wet and stormy.
